Royal Elite Primary School consists of seven classes; that is, Grade 1 to Grade 7. It is also divided into 3 sections, namely:
- Lower Section
- Middle Section
- Upper Section
Each stream has a maximum of 25 pupils, which makes it easy for the teacher to manage the class.
LOWER SECTION
In this section, we teach reading, writing, arithmetic, healthcare, sports and arts. The pupils can communicate orally and read and speak English fluently.
Arithmetic
Our pupils use number operations and can recognize numbers, relate measures and identify shapes and figures.
Arts and Games
The pupils can play familiar games, make various artistic works, sing familiar songs, perform plays and act in drama.
Health Care and Environment
Our pupils learn how to maintain body cleanliness and keep the environment clean. They are well versed with the environment and recognize different plants and animals in the environment. Some can also administer first aid in case a fellow pupil gets a minor injury. They can also plant seeds and take care of the plants.
MIDDLE SECTION
This section comprises Grades Three and Four.
Exams
We evaluate our pupils regularly through class tests; and monthly, midterm, terminal and annual examinations. We set individual learners targets, monitor and track pupils’ performance to ensure that no learner is left behind.
UPPER PRIMARY SECTION
The Upper Primary Section encompasses pupils in Grades Five through Seven. Besides teaching, teachers guide and encourage pupils towards achieving the best.
In Upper Primary we impart knowledge, skills and competences which build confidence, self-esteem as well as lifelong creative inquiry through various learner-friendly techniques. We don’t only achieve this in class but also during assemblies held three times a week whereby pupils get involved in expressing their views. We focus on developing the child in attaining competence academically and emotionally.
